Beth Haverim Trip to New Orleans August 13-19, 2006

On August 13th Rabbi Mosbacher led a group from Beth Haverim to work in New Orleans gutting houses. We were part of a volunteer group organized by Nechama, a Minnesota based Jewish disaster recovery organization. It was hard and dirty work but also the most rewarding work for many of us. After the week was over we went to Friday night services at Gates of Prayer Synagogue in Metarie, LA. In addition to Rabbi Mosbacher the other Beth Haverim members were Robbie and Eddie Saiff, Laura and Jamie Rosenbluth and Ken Goldstein
